Might not THAT underrated, NotAPrettyCure but, the problem is that majorities of the audience insists this as anime version/retelling of Harry Potter franchise, which is ironic as both franchises barely similar outside magic school and coming of the age aspect; whereas Little Witch Academia tells about a mundane character and nobody (Akko) who enters magic community to achieve her dreams while reconciling old and new ways in the same community along the way, Harry Potter is, at its core, a war story centered around titular mythical wizard (Harry Potter) who forced to spend his childhood as a mundane human before eventually learned his true heritage, attend the magic school to better master his gift of magic, and put an end of the conflict which put his home community at the stake once and for all.
