Enchanted Parade Ship

A ship Akko constructed for the parade in Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade.

Description[]

This unnamed ship is brown in color with a red outline, outfitted with built-in speakers on the side, flashlights, firework launchers, and a mechanical claw which extends from in front of the steering wheel that can grab things, though its main function is holding a magical power source such as Sorcerer's Stone or Shiny Rod (though Akko opted to use the latter after charging it with the former.

While the ship can magically fly, it can move on land thanks to its wheels.

Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade[]

Akko came up with the idea about the ship while planning the upcoming witch parade at Blytonbury after recalled how much Shiny Chariot inspired her. She even shared her plans with her roommates and Amanda's team. When she begins constructing the ship, only Amanda, Constanze, and Jasminka arrived due to her fallout with Lotte and Sucy who remained pessimistic over her ideas.

As the parade is about to begin, Akko, Amanda, Constanze, and Jasminka begin the ship's testing by placing Sorcerer's Stone-empowered Shiny Rod onto its receptacle claw. The ship worked as intended and they can even use magic within its vicinity, but Akko urged to wait for Lotte and Sucy to join them. Unfortunately, her roommates don't show up as if they are too angry to care with their own part of their detention much to Akko's dismay. In her frustration, she tossed her broom onto the nearest prepared props, forcing them to start their part in the parade without the two.

But then, Thomas and his gang showed up and stole the Shiny Rod to ruin Luna Nova students' part in the parade. In the process, they inadvertently revived the sealed Titan whose petrified hand, which became the very monument above its prison, grabs Thomas and Shiny Rod to feed on more power from the latter. With Diana unable to get close to and the partially freed entity spreads its dark magic to aggravate dormant faeries and have them wreaking havoc, Akko and her friends build an improvised catapult out of a carrying trolley and dunking stool prop from the previous year's parade to launch herself toward Thomas. In response to this, the Titan tossed Akko and Thomas upwards along with the Shiny Rod, prompting Diana to catch the latter two while the newly arrived Sucy catches Akko. During their attempts to pass Shiny Rod back to Akko, Constanze uses Enchanted Parade Ship's claws to grab Amanda just as the sealed entity knocked her off her broom so she can return it to Akko. As the situation escalated further, Lotte arrived at the scene by singing a lullaby to soothe the aggravated faeries' rage, allowing animated objects to inanimate once again. With the situation seemingly under their control once again, Lotte and Sucy reconcile with Akko, having realized their own share of errors during their previous fallout.

Suddenly, the awakened Titan revealed itself by digging its way out, all while absorbing inanimate objects to patch up its decomposing body parts. Thanks to Ursula's improvisation and the use of parade props in their disposal (including Enchanted Parade Ship, she and Luna Nova students managed to ensure the whole thing being part of the show before everyone's eyes to prevent panic as Akko, Lotte, and Sucy combined their magic into Shiny Ballista to put the awakened entity back to its slumber.

Trivia[]

The ship's animation which depicted it turning into a robot by Takafumi Hori as part of the promotion for anime TV series foreshadowed the appearance of Stanship, which can turn into Grand Charion.
