Little Witch Academia[]
Barbara and Hannah appear for the first time next to Diana, making fun of Akko saying that she is childish for admiring Shiny Chariot. Later in the flight class, Hannah remarks Akko as pathetic for not knowing how to handle a Magic Broom.
During the treasure quest in the academy dungeons, Barbara and Hannah are very frightened to have to help Diana with defeating gigantic monsters and suggest that they return to the class with the treasures that they already have. Diana refuses and decides to find truly rare treasures. They warn her that there is a minotaur behind her, which is defeated by Sucy, who just got there along with Akko and Lotte, with her venomous and highly corrosive potion. Due to Diana's insistence on finding rare treasures, she decides to go down the large hole made by the potion, but both think it would be very dangerous. Diana replies that if they are so afraid, they should stay with Akko and her friends. Both follow Diana into the hole, not wanting to stay behind with them.
They explore the cave below and find an iron maiden. Diana decides to open it and releases the Ancient Dragon. Upon seeing its size, Barbara and Hannah mock it and cast offensive spells, causing it to grow at accelerated rate. Diana realizes it's feeding on their magic, but before she can tell them to stop, the dragon attacks and Diana, Hannah, and Barbara come out of a hole that the dragon made. Diana takes their brooms and fuses them with her own broom to create a faster version. Both are last seen flying together on brooms with other witches alongside Akko and Diana.
Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade[]
In The Enchanted Parade, Hannah and Barbara appear at the beginning during Professor Finnelan's class, praising Diana for solving the chaos caused by Akko and Sucy, and for her perfect use of Luna Lana. After Akko and her friends finish the choreography practice, Hannah and Barbara enter the room with Diana, and make fun of their Happy Time Project, saying that it's very childish.

A New Beginning[]
Hannah and Barbara first appear with Avery, talking about Luna Nova's status before aboard the Ley Lines. They are then approached by Akko, who, unaware of the Ley Lines, asks them about the train station. Amused by her lack of knowledge, they explain her about the Ley Lines, before entering the station with a smug look in their faces, without helping her.
Hannah and Barbara later appear during the opening ceremony of the academy with Diana. Though not shown, it's safe to assume that she's among those who surprised by Akko, Lotte, and Sucy's unexpected entrance via. a Ley Line portal right at the center of auditorium.

Hannah and Barbara appear in a similar way to Akko as in the first film. In addition, they speak for Diana saying that she comes from a rich and famous family of wizards.
Don't Stop Me Now[]
Hannah and Barbara are Diana's companions in the broom relay race, the latter acting as the leader.
Night Fall[]
Hannah and Barbara go to the city on their free time. Realizing there was a Night Fall event going on, Barbara convinces Hannah to join it with her, under the pretense that they'll just watch the "losers". Barbara tries participating in the pop quiz, but is shamed by Hannah for it. After realizing Akko and co. were in the event, they denounce them to Finnelan, who gives them a punishment after they're back to Luna Nova, adding to the one they had already received.

New Age Magic[]
When the fairies all go on strike, Hannah and Barbara offer a log to bribe a Fire Spirit into heating up the water, allowing them to take a shower. Unfortunately, the spirit is doused by Croix's robot, causing their shower to turn cold. The girls are framed as the guilty party for hurting the spirit, causing all the fairies to rampage.

Unlike Diana who mixed by Modern Magic, Hannah and Barbara are excited by the new subject as much as everyone else.

Chapter 1[]
Hannah and Barbara are first seen accompanying Diana as she meets Akko and Lotte. The two make fun of Akko for yawning in the middle of Diana's speech during the opening ceremony earlier, provoking Akko to try to engage the Cavendish in a one-sided magic duel.
Later that night, blue team are having night tea together when they notice an explosion resulted from Akko's poor Flame Magic control.
Chapter 2[]
Hannah is shown participating in Ursula's class where they are tasked in building a golem. She and Barbara later praises Diana's remarkable golem design and its combat capabilities against Akko's poorly made one. Though not shown, her finished golem may very well fare as much as the others despite paled in comparison of Diana's.
Later after the class where they must perform basic Flame Magic, Hannah and Barbara talk about it with Diana when Lemmy and Akko land near them before fleeing from Luna Nova, much to their shock. This prompts Diana to look up and see that the two jumped out of red team's dorm room and inqures Lotte and Sucy above some explanation about what just happened.
Catching up with Diana who just talked some sense with Akko, Hannah and Barbara insult the Japanese witch-in-training as they make their leave. It is when Lemmy ambushes blue team, wreaking havoc so Akko has no choice but to deactivate him. The plan worked because Hannah and Barbara cling into Diana thus making it difficult for the Cavendish to deactivate him herself. Once Lotte and Sucy arrive at the scene, they decide to return to Luna Nova.
Chapter 3[]
Hannah and Barbara are oblivious to Diana's interest in Shiny Chariot costume that somehow available at online auction, let alone at Secondhand Shop. It is until Akko brings up their investigation leading to uncovering and subsequently foiling the scam of Secondhand Shop owner, much to their surprise.

Chapter 3[]
Hannah and Barbara accompany Diana as she tells Akko that Shiny Chariot is not worth to look up to for being labelled as a heretic by her own community. When the two and Sucy wind up escalate the argument between the Cavendish and the Japanese witch-in-training, Ursula, who overhears the whole thing, steps in and suggests that they should settle their dispute through volleyball instead.
At the courtyard, Diana, Hannah, and Barbara are joined by Sarah Bernhardt, Mary, and Alice. Hannah and Barbara insult Akko and the reluctant Amanda as they wait for the match to start out of confidence where their team will win against all odds. But to their chagrin, Amanda uses magic to get around her lack of experience with volleyball to match their and Diana's own prowess with such mundane sport, forcing them to use the same tactic as the goblin custodian who in charge of the match doesn't do anything about it. At the height of the match, Hannah deliberately hurls the ball at Amanda when her back turn only for Akko dangerously deflects it with her bare hands. In their indifference towards the Japanese witch-in-training's resolve, Hannah and Barbara go all out, prompting Akko's team to respond in kind starting from Constanze who deflects another strike with her newly built first Stanbot.
In the end, Diana's team wins the volleyball match. Hannah and Barbara are disgruntled by aforementioned competition yet unaware with Diana's newfound admiration in Akko who went to such lengths in defending her idol.
Chapter 5[]
Hannah and Barbara return to their dorm room only to be startled by Akko who coming out while in maid uniform.
Chapter 6[]
To Hannah and Barbara's chargin, their evening bath together is interrupted by the malfunction in their bathroom's shower. Worse still, a blackout ensues as soon as they report the issue to Diana. As the Cavendish sets out to consult with the professors about the matter (and helping her peers along the way), she implores them to get dressed.
Chapter 9[]
Hannah and Barbara are among students who present as everyone expect Hanbridges' arrival and immediately enamored by the viscount's presence.
Chapter 10[]
Hannah and Barbara are shocked by the news of Akko's efforts in saving a group of endangered fishes from a poacher during the mishap which supposedly warranted her expulsion. Diana indignantly explains that she doesn't guarantee that her prediction of Akko leaving Luna Nova will be like what they hoped to be from start.
Chapter 12[]
When the chaos breaks out at the dormitory were red and green teams' dorm room situated at, Hannah and Barbara accompany Diana as she barges in to see what happen. To their horror and Akko and co.'s chagrin Jasminka's hunger faery unceremoniously eats Diana before she had a chance to properly face it. The faery then proceeds to eat her and Barbara, though it eventually regurgitates them along with the others after being force-fed by Akko with one of her pickle plums. She, along with other students who got devoured, are later safely reguritated by the fairy after Akko force-feeds it with her pickle plums.
Chapter 14[]
Hannah and Barbara are helping Lukić in moving her equipment. As the former complains that the chores should be relegated to red team instead, the latter notices Lotte with Annabel there for some reasons.
Later on, Hannah catches Barbara giving an important advice to Lotte when the Finnish witch-in-training discuss different ideas for upcoming Night Fall volume to Annabel. By doing so, she and the two discover Barbara being the secret Night Fall fan all along, much to her embarrassment that she runs off in tears.
To Barbara's relief, Hannah seems not might about her being a Night Fall fan but, their conversation is interrupted by a loud noise from Diana's study. To their horror, the Cavendish heiress is collapsing due to Burning Sickness.
Chapter 15[]
Shocked to see what befell their roommate, Hannah and Barbara barge into the meeting between Holbrooke, Finnelan, and the headmistress of a rival academy and inform them aboytbthe situation. Lukić is promptly called to examine Diana and, to their relief, the Cavendish heiress' ailment isn't severe but, the problem is Luna Nova run out of the stock of the cure. Upon Lukić's mention of Sucy who may know what to do, the two decide to ask her help. That said, it takes some doing in convincing the young Manbavaran in helping them brewing the cure because of their mutual differences and that the latter had to be convinced by Lotte and Akko's own determination to take Diana's place in the upcoming interschool broom race.
For the rest of the night, Lotte, Sucy, Hannah, and Barbara work hard in gathering the ingredients. Despite the tension between them, the group manages to acquire what they need just as dawn comes.
Chapter 16[]
By the time the group enter Luna Nova grounds, they learn that the interschool broom race has been commenced as planned. The urgency to cure Diana only escalates once Sucy learns Akko's reluctant participation in it.
Hannah and Barbara are relieved that the cure which Sucy brewed for Diana worked to the point of tearfully hugging their newly recovered roommate. When they finally tell Diana of the situation at hand, the two are surprised to see the Cavendish wastes no time to get ready to join the interschool broom race, insisting that Akko's unexpected participation in the ensuing such important event won't bode well to Luna Nova's reputation. With that, the duo have no choice but to join them.
