Gameplay[]

Player pilots the Stanship/Grand Charion to fight monsters. Gameplay features 3 levels with increasing difficulty, with 2 lives in each level. The game switches between 2 game modes, in the following order:

  • A side-scrolling retro arcade-styled Shoot 'em up where players control the Stanship to navigate the level while fighting the flying and ground enemies - featuring color-swapped versions of Chamber of Time enemies such as Giant Spider, Sonic Bird, Miniature Dragon, and Hollow - to earn scores, and dodging their fires. Players can lose a life if they get hit once, which will remain the same when transistioning to the second mode. Players can move using the left stick, and utilizes various abilities, such as Charion Missle (Square button), Charion Laser (Triangle button), Charion Cannon (Circle button), and Constanze Shot (X button) to deal damage to the enemies. Near the end of this mode, a boss character will appear for players to defeat, examples include Cockatrice and Balloon Dragon. Once the boss is vanquished, the player will encounter a larger enemy - examples include the Elder Treant, Minotaur, and Titan respectively - which signals the start of the second mode.
  • A first-person mech fighter as the stanship transforms into Grand Charion, and players engage these larger enemies on the ground. Players can navigate the battleground by moving with the left stick, and jump by pressing the X button with the left stick. They can also perform an evasive manuver to dodge by pressing both L1 and R1 button. Players can attack with a variety of moves and combos, such as Grand Punch (Pressing square button three times), Charion Uppercut (Triangle button) or Gigant Knuckle (Square button). There is a health bar, and a timer counting down from 100 seconds in every levels. Enemies in this mode are able to move, jump, block, dodge, do quick attacks and a charging attack. The goal of this mode is to keep scoring hits on the enemy to charge Grand Charion's magical power meter into full, so they can execute "Mircale Magical Shining Tornado Punch!" (L1 + R1 + Square button) and defeat the enemy.

Once both modes are completed, the result screen will be displayed, showcasing the total points earned from the first mode, time bonus, and HP bonus. Each level add more points earned from finishing the levels as you play, cumulating in a final score displayed in an arcade-styled ranking screen, displaying the rank you earned, points, and name you can type into. Triggering a Game Over from losing all your lives will also take you to the ranking screen before transistioning back to the start menu.
