I just figured out you love a fic of mine which titled Promise to Meet Again. Did you know that story was the one-shot prequel for the first entry of Little Witch Academia: Witches of Midgard series which titled The Twin Daughters?
Gamewizard2008, are you still busy in working on your Gameverse series as always? I just wanted to let you know that due to extensive improvements I made in my fanfic series Little Witch Academia: Witches of Midgard, I have renamed the first entry of my series, The Twin Daughters, into The Rise of Luna Nova Valkyries. For the case of this one, I did so cuz I realized that entry's original title turned out too misleading and not fit enough.
I saw some of your works regarding Kids Next Door x Little Witch Academia crossover and intrigued by it, though the only story that I just read was Sucy, You Shrunk Me!. Did you the one who made that story? Just curious.
A. Does your Kids Next Door x Little Witch Academia crossover series still ongoing? Just curious.
B. Did you know that there's a wikia dedicated for fanon works and other fan ideas of Little Witch Academia called Little Witch Academia Fanon Wiki? Not sure whether you once visited that wikia, but it's best that I let you know that it had undergone major improvements since few weeks ago.
A. Of course! My Gameverse Saga has been ongoing since 2011, but it wasn't until 2018 that LWA characters were introduced. You should give it a read sometime; it doesn't require too much knowledge of the crossovers to understand (though the first few stories could come off as confusing, since it continues from KND's ending). The Gameverse is designed so that many of the different crossovers coexist in the same universe in an organic fashion.
I see that Akko's team, which you dubbed as Sector LN, is affiliated with Avalaran KND. Now it made me curious: Do you have the plan to add Ursula Callistis aka. Chariot du Nord as a supporting character for your Kids Next Door x Little Witch Academia crossover storyline while still ongoing? If you do, I suggested that Ursula would be portrayed as a retired KND member who would provide Akko and co. some important advices, but since this is your story, it's up to you for deciding.
She did have a few supporting roles in Sector LN and Tea Party, and she'll probably serve as an ally for the upcoming Pirate Wars. Her being a retired operative hasn't been revealed, though it's a strong possibility. (Of course, since my readers may not be familiar with the show, I write it to avoid revealing Ursula's true identity, even though the witches already know it.)
This might be a spoiler-guarantee question, but does Sector LN has cool gadgets and other weapons (aside Shiny Rod, Magic wand, magic broom perhaps)? If they do, what are they? I asked cuz when browsing info about Kids Next Door, the titular organization are cool improvisers, using household objects and rudimentary materials as components of their technology.
That is true, although my Nextgen Kids Next Door develop natural powers, such as element bending (Amanda is a firebender, for instance). Sector LN's main tech is the Stanship, which was designed for space travel, as well as the Stanbots, but nothing else besides that.
Perhaps because either the title of your oncoming work Pirate Wars (which made me felt that things might about to get rowdy), me working on Norse fanfic with tokusatsu elements, or watching walkthroughs of Minecraft story mode, or even found a cool fic titled Heroes and Spirits which about Constanze building an experimental exoskeleton, I got an idea which might useful for the Pirate Wars Storyline:
Sensing that the oncoming Pirate Wars would made its way to Luna Nova and it would be more chaotic than everybody expected, Constanze decided to develop special, collapsible combat suit for her and her fellow Sector LN members that not only endow them protection from magical and physical attacks, but also enhanced their combat capabilities. The suit later proved to be crucial in the oncoming battle.
Once again, since this is your story, it's up to you for deciding. Although, I found this idea might a bit silly cuz I likely underestimating how good Sector LN are.
Not a bad idea, though Amanda, Jasminka, and sometimes Hannah are the only physical combat types (in fact, Hannah would have a part in making the suits anyway, since she's the Fashion Designer of the group).
And yeah, Pirate Wars will be pretty rowdy. The past few stories have been focused on developing the Four Pirate Emperors and their crews.
When looking at your Gameverse rules, I found a part which made me curious:
You shouldn't read the series solely for seeing a specific crossover; you need to acknowledge the Gameverse as its own series and not just a fanfiction.
What does it exactly mean? Would it a big deal if I mostly enjoy parts of Gameverse storyline that either featuring/focusing on Sector LN (Akko and Diana's KND team)'s adventures and other exploits alone just because I familiar with them most? It's not that I have little interest with the rest of Gameverse storyline and other characters in it, I genuinely found them intriguing, but there are tons to read since you started it since 2011.
For one thing, the Gameverse has a strict continuity: one story leads to the next and to the next and so on and so on, so if you started on a late story, even if it's just to get adapted, you'll either be confused by who certain characters or concepts are or where they come from, or you'll read spoilers for previous stories.
If you only care about specific characters or crossovers, you'll be disappointed. Just as our own world is a massive place where anyone can have equal importance, big or small, the Gameverse is a massive universe with lots of diverse inhabitants. There's no single protagonist, but numerous protagonists across the different stories, many of them contributing to the overarching storyline.
Anyway, I started to enjoy the first story of your Gameverse, Operation: GALACSIA. Although, I kinda surprised Nigel's superior in his new group would be Dimentia. Browing more info about that character, I figured out canon Dimentia to be a notorious antagonist from Super Paper Mario and given to his notoriety, I had a bad feeling that things get hairy whenever he's around. Does his strained relationship with newbie Nigel Uno kinda deliberate to be a foreshadowing on something bad?
Note: Please forgive me if this turned out potentially spoil the story.
B. My favorite parts are probably the endgame chapters.
A lot of my readers really favor GALACSIA because of its direct connection to KND, but to be honest, it's popular to the point where I'm annoyed with it, and I think my modern-day stories are far superior in terms of writing, characterization, worldbuilding, and everything. In other words, if it seems interesting now, the Firstborn and Nextgen Sagas will definitely blow your mind.
And I just found my first favorite part: Zim interfered Tak's entrance in Chapter 8, giving Nigel Uno, Ava, and Dib slight leverage against their enemies. If you said that Firstborn and Nextgen Sagas will blow my mind, guess it is wise to read the whole story starting from GALACSIA.
Another question: Does Constanze's Stanbots in your Gameverse series has greater capabilities and more functions than in canon Little Witch Academia anime? Given to her and her teammates' status as KND operatives, Constanze would likely adding some upgrades for her little robots so they have better performance when performing tasks includes reconnaissance, weapons and item transport, and assessment of the group's physical conditions, all which necessary when they found themselves in combat zones.
When looking back at early chapters of Operation: GALACSIA, I realized that Ava, one of your crossover characters, possesses the ability to learn other sentient races' native language by literally kissing them on the lips. She demonstrated it by kissing Nigel Uno so she can understand his native language (English). This made me curious: Did you based her said ability from that of Starfire from Teen Titans? Just curious as Starfire is the only character that I know possessing that ability.
Gamewizard2008, in your crossover series, you established that Lotte is a Ghost Whisperer. What are they? Are they simply a type of witches that can communicate with spirits and having them performing taskes on their behalf or able to do much more (like trained in combating rogue spirits and dangerous ghosts perhaps)?
Yeah, pretty much, though it's not just witches who can do it; Kirie Beatles and her mom can speak to Rainbow Monkey spirits. They're not on the same level as Spirit KND operatives, though. The concept isn't really explored that much.
