"Mind Conductor" is the opening theme for the second cour of the Little Witch Academiaanime, replacing Shiny Ray as the opening theme. It is performed by YURiKA.
Along with the second ending theme Toumei na Tsubasa, it was released in CD format as a maxi-single in Japan on May 24, 2017, in two versions: artist edition (¥1,700)[1] and anime edition (¥1,200).[2] Both editions contain six tracks: "Mind Conductor", "Fairy Way", "Beautiful Future", and instrumental versions of the aforementioned three. The artist edition additionally contains a music video featuring YURiKA for "Mind Conductor", as well as a clean version of the second cour's opening sequence.
Being the opening for the second cour, the song was heard from "New Age Magic" to "The Road to Arcturus", stopping before the series finale "Tree of Leaves", which did not feature an opening sequence.
Take action! Raise your hands!
One scene, captured with the fire of a shutter—
A moment is inscribed there,
Producing a single, nameless story.
Each and every one of us has the potential to become a hero
Hidden deep within, don't you think?
Even if the first step we take is small,
It can surely pave the way to a new future!
I'll never stop believing
In this world, or my dreams!
This uncontrollable feeling
is the signal of a new beginning!
Our feelings are still in a deep sleep, so let's wake them up!
One cut, beautiful, but lacking in every other way—
That can no longer satisfy me. Such a tiny bit of stubbornness
Has begun to sprout within me.
I start to miss music that's drowned in noise effects,
The kinds of sounds attained by releasing all the limiters!
There's no reason to hold back. Let's do as much as we possibly can!
Each mistake we build upon will let us echo even more beautifully!
If we can remain ever fearless
As we progress through our time in this world...
If we can grasp every chance that comes our way
Without hesitation...
Then let's keep a tight grip—don't let a single one escape!
One way or another, we'll have to overcome our past selves.
Deep down, we've already realized the path we must follow
...so let's get started!
See? It will be alright! When we gently close our eyes,
We hear a voice saying, "C'mon over!"
I'll never stop believing
In this world, or my dreams!
This uncontrollable feeling
Is the signal of a new beginning!
I've decided to seek out
A new me I've never known before! It's Showtime!
Never fear, just try again!
Fly away, again and again!
(Oh) I don't want to miss a thing
That I can see from this place.[3]

Trivia[]
The idea about this song, which used for opening sequence of the TV Series's second cour, was inspired by "Girls' Anthem" as proposed by Naoko Tsutsumi. Being the cheering song for every girl and even featuring most, if not all of the series' cast, further highlight the significance of Seven Words of Arcturus.[4][5]
