A powerful beast who fights with flailing fists and roaring charges. It tends to rush headlong into battle, and its attacks generally lack refinement, but it more than makes up for this with sheer strength, so beware

—Description of Minotaur from Strange Notebook

A Minotaur (ミノタウルス Minotaurusu?) is a monster that resembles the mixture between a human and a bull. In short films, they are often found in the Luna Nova Academy dungeons while in anime, in various parts of the school as custodian or janitors. In Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, some wild minotaurs also exist.

The minotaurs have a humanoid body about three meters long, with hooves on their feet, a long tail and a large bull's head with bright orange eyes without pupils and two big horns.

Minotaurs in short films are extremely aggressive and violently attack anyone who comes near them. Ones that featured in anime, however, appeared to be more civilized and have more anthropomorphic qualities since they wear Luna Nova custodian uniforms, but still temperamental. The same cannot be said on other members of these creatures that encountered as wild monsters by Akko and co. as they venture through dungeons accessible via. Sealed Door of Horologium Chamber with the use of Magic Keys. Of course, a plausible explanation of this is mainly due to the difference in the lifestyle of these creatures.

Powers and Abilities

The minotaurs have an immense amount of physical strength. They also show incredible stamina, as a minotaur was unaffected when Diana nailed multiple swords into his back.

This minotaur comes packing all the latest technology. The high-powered engine fitted to improve its charge attacks runs whisper quiet, but the loud snorting of the minotaur largely defeats its purpose.

—Description of a technotaur from Strange Notebook

Technotaurs are minotaurs who outfitted themselves with blue and white technological suits of armor along with some cybernetic modifications, further bolstering their already immense strength and speed to upper levels. The armor also designed so they can become much stealthy when ambushing their foes out of nowhere, yet these creatures poorly made use of these advantageous gimmicks because of their loud snorts.
