Potions are magical liquids prepared by witches that provoke various magical effects. A few witches, including Professor Lukić, Sucy and her mother, specialize in potions.

Description

Potions are brewed with certain ingredients and a specific process of preparation. Misuse of ingredients or an error in preparation may cause undesirable effects. Some potions are meant to be consumed to be effective, while others can be used to attack the target.

Potions are prepared mainly in fire cauldrons and stored in small bottles. Some potions are required to be used in combination with a spell, but most can do their magical effects without them.

1.	Festering Potion	Festering Potion is a potion that can reduce living beings that either touch or drink it reduced into caustic goo. How caustic this potion can seem to depent of quantities of ingredients used. Sucy used one to kill a Minotaur in the first film where she remarked its effect too strong, as the beast's molten body ends up burning through the dungeon's floor.	File:Poti.gif
2.	Poison Gas Potion	Poison Gas Potion is a potion that upon contact with the air, instantly evaporates into deadly, purplish poison gas. The gas' tremendous killing ability is because some, if not all of the potion's ingredients being magical in nature. In the first film, Sucy used the potion to kill the dragon, but due to the dragon's ability to absorb magic and the potion's own magical nature, fails and merely further evolve the dragon into stronger form. 3.	Puppet Magic Potion	“ A potion that aids in control magic. ” —Description of Control Magic Potion Also known as Control Magic Potion, Puppet Magic Potion is a potion for performing Puppet Magic. It has two variants; one that needs to be poured over the target to magically inanimate it under his/her control for a limited amount of time and the other that must be consumed to briefly improve the user's puppet magic performance. The latter's effect only lasted long enough for the user to cast only one mending magic spell, forcing her to ingest more to cast another. Said variant is arguably concocted that way for both discouraging the user from rely on it and for training purposes.	Unconsumable Consumable
4.	Nutrient Potion	Nutrient Potion is a potion that activates and accelerates the grow of vegetation. In "Don't Stop Me Now", Sucy uses it on the brooms of the other participants of the Luna Nova Cup to adhere their brooms to the ground with plants and prevent them from flying. She probably uses a variety in "Samhain Magic" to grow giant mushrooms.	File:Nutrient.jpg
5.	Frog Leg Potion	Frog Leg Potion, also known as Frog Leg Juice, is a potion that upon contact with the target, make grow a pair of frog-like legs capable of jumping relative long distances. The color of this potion is pinkish red. In "Don't Stop Me Now", Akko uses it on her broom due to her incapability of flying on it, which makes it so she is able to hop, instead of fly, through the course.
6.	Memory Alteration Potion	Memory Alteration Potion is a potion that can alter the memories of the drinker, it takes effect in two hours after consumption. The potion can be mixed with foods or beverages without affecting its effects. In "Blytonbury's Undead Travelogue" Sucy uses it to make the men of the tavern forget having seen the revived Mr. Holbrooke.
7.	Explosive Powder	Explosive Powder is a potion that upon contact with the air, instantly evaporates into flammable purple gas/dust-like powder that can be ignited with magic. The gas' explosive power is strong enough to destroy multiple enemies who caught into it. In "Luna Nova and the White Dragon", Sucy used one to combat Fafnir's Robot Dragons. 8.	Stereoscopic Image Potion	Stereoscopic Image Potion is a potion which if spilled, will evaporate into smoke which reveals images of a certain story/plot. It's unknown what kind of ingredients are used to make this potion. In Blytonbury's Undead Travelogue, the Café Proprietor used a vial of this potion to tell Akko, Lotte, and Sucy about Golden Age of Magic.	File:Story Potion LWA.gif
9.	Pyro Booster Potion	Pyro Booster Potion is potion that can give a flying broom a boost of power, enabling supersonic flight. To use this potion, the witch needs to apply it to her broom before igniting it with fire. In "Tree of Leaves", Sucy utilized this potion on both hers and Lotte's broom to help Atsuko Kagari and Diana Cavendish catch up with Noir Missile.
10.	Ultra Super Energy Drink	The ultimate potion was made by Sucy in Sleeping Sucy. It's supposedly gives the user fair greater magic ability ahen usual, but only knocks Sucy out for a bit and inflicted her with Sleeping Witch Disease. Sucy's intention for this potion was too simply have greater magic power so she can find more mushrooms. Before testing it to herself, she considered to use it on Akko, but eventually against it upon foreseeing that it will fully awaken the Japanese witch's magic potential and would made her life boring.
11.	Weapon-Wand Fusion Powder	Weapon-Wand Fusion Powder is a potion that allows the user to combine her wand with a weapon/item to upgrade the said weapon/item into better version of it on the same vein with Weapon-Wand Fusion Spell. So far only powder version of the aforementioned potion that shown. In "Bee Commotion", Sucy uses this powder to combine her wand with an ornate fly swatter head to form an enchanted fly swatter for Akko to instantly killed a Cupid Bee which she set loose earlier.
12.	Magic Glue	“ A magic-infused glue with exceptional bonding ability ” —Description of Magic Glue from Strange Notebook Magic Glue is a special glue with magical properties. The glue is yellowish brown in color, and its ingredients are leaves of Mandrake, mini dragon's fangs, cornstrach.
13.	Sealing Glue	“ A magic-infused glue with exceptional bonding ability ” —Description of Binding Glue from Strange Notebook Also known as Binding Glue. It is much more powerful version of Magic Glue as it can bind almost anything. The glue can be made by mixing magic glue with few drops of Cerberus's blood, which turning it gleaming purple.
14.	Enchanted Fertilizer	“ Has no effect on normal plants, but can be used in magical plant nutrients to make flowers bloom instantly. Available for purchase from the academy store. ” —Description of Enchanted Fertilizer from Strange Notebook Enchanted Fertilizer is a special fertilizer that enhances the grow of magical plant that they can bloom instantly. While effective, the fertilizer is useless on normal plants. It's unknown what its ingredients are.
15.	Cactus Nutrients	“ A liquid made from the extract of cacti native to the Shaula Desert. A few drops can be used to purify water. ” —Description of Cactus Nutrients from Strange Notebook Cactus Nutrients is a special nutrient to purify water, enabling magical fish like Pisces to breathe on the water. In Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, Akko and Sucy made this nutrient to purify the water in the water stream at Cafeteria Vestibule under behalf of Pisces so she can travel outside Luna Nova out of boredom. Unfortunately, that, coupled with the Cactus Nutrient's unintended side effect where the water became pink, resulting the unintended misunderstanding with Finnelan who mistaking Akko about to harm Pisces again, though in process, Pisces found another lesser Pollux key and even help settle the matter with Holbrooke and Finnelan.
16.	Dragonese Potion	“ This tonic temporarily gives anyone who drinks it the ability to read Dragonese ” —Description of Dragonese Potion from Strange Notebook A special potion that temporarily endows those who drink it temporary ability to both read and understand Dragonese. It requires a number of fangs of Miniature Dragon to brew.
17.	Experimental Poison Gas Bomb	A much more devastating version of Poison Gas potion which still in experimental stage but used by Sucy anyway as her trump card in Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time game. This potion comprised of two separate concoctions; the main concoction that is bright pink in color, and the cyan one that acts as the catalyst. By mixing a drop of the latter into the former, the main concoction will violently boils before explodes in the matter of few seconds, damaging and poisoning everything and everyone within the blast radius. Even so, the blast caused little to no harm to Sucy thanks to her immunity to poisons other than slight disorientation.
18.	Culinary Magic Potion	“ A potion that aids in culinary magic. ” —Description of Culinary Magic Potion Culinary Magic Potion is a potion which briefly improves the witch's culinary magic through consumption. Its effect only lasted long enough for the user to cast only one culinary magic spell, forcing her to ingest more to cast another. The potion is arguably concocted that way for both discouraging the user from rely on it and for training purposes.
19.	Telepathy Magic Potion	“ A potion that aids in telepathy magic. ” —Description of Telepathy Magic Potion Telepathy Magic Potion is a potion which briefly improves the witch's telepathy magic through consumption. Its effect only lasted long enough for the user to cast only one telepathy magic spell, forcing her to ingest more to cast another. The potion is arguably concocted that way for both discouraging the user from rely on it and for training purposes.
20.	Mending Magic Potion	“ A potion that aids in mending magic. ” —Description of Mending Magic Potion Mending Magic Potion is a potion to help performing Restoration Magic. It has two variants; a powder which needs to be poured on damaged item to restore it with Restoration Magic spell's incantation and liquid one that must be consumed to briefly improve the user's mending magic performance. The latter's effect only lasted long enough for the user to cast only one mending magic spell, forcing her to ingest more to cast another. Said variant is arguably concocted that way for both discouraging the user from rely on it and for training purposes. If the powder variant of this potion got mixed with at least one Grave Mushroom, it will cause a green explosion of necromatic gas which then seeps into a nearby dead body (even if the dead body in question is buried few feet under the soil) and revive him/her as a Zombie, something that Akko discovered where she accidently revived Mr. Holbrooke when attempting to fix his tombstone. Levitation Magic Potion	“ A potion that aids in levitation magic. ” —Description of Levitation Magic Potion Levitation Magic Potion is a potion which briefly improves the witch's Floating Magic through consumption. Its effect only lasted long enough for the user to cast only one levitation magic spell, forcing her to ingest more to cast another. The potion is arguably concocted that way for both discouraging the user from rely on it and for training purposes.
22.	Sleeping Magic Potion	“ A potion that aids in sleeping magic. ” —Description of Sleeping Magic Potion Sleeping Magic Potion is a potion which briefly improves the witch's sleeping magic through consumption. Its effect only lasted long enough for the user to cast only one sleeping magic spell, forcing her to ingest more to cast another. The potion is arguably concocted that way for both discouraging the user from rely on it and for training purposes.
