Sleeping Witch Sickness

Sleeping Witch Sickness is a mystical ailment which put the afflicted in deep sleep not unlike suspended animation. Given to how Sucy contracted it while testing her experimental Ultra Super Energy Drink and the same potion caused the dorm room she shared with Akko and Lotte turned into a forest of growing mushrooms, magic-related accidents apparently the most recurring cause that both it and means to cure the afflicted (see Countermeasures below) eventually documented in Witch's Medicine book along with other known ailments.

In "Sleeping Sucy", Sucy is afflicted with this ailment when her experiment with Ultra Super Energy Drink went wrong leading to their dorm room becoming a forest of mushrooms, necessitating Lotte to send Akko's consciousness into their friend's mind rather than consulting with the professors at the risk of expulsion given to their track record. Against all odds, Akko manages to wake Sucy up in the end, though the nature of the accident which started the whole thing seemingly allowed her to do more than curing her friend; by the time she returned to her body, Akko finds herself going back to the moment she abruptly awakes early in the morning of the day of aforementioned incident except it doesn't come to pass, Sucy both being no worse for wear and reminds Akko about the promise of helping her carrying her stuff for a month (a promise Akko technically made with embodiments of her temptation and conscience), and unknown to them, a single mushroom grows beneath the Manbavaran's pillow as they make haste for Finnelan's class.

Symptoms

As stated previously, those who afflicted with Sleeping Witch Sickness are left in the state of sleep-like death thus cannot be awakened through conventional means.

Countermeasures

The only known means to awaken those who afflicted with Sleeping Witch Sickness is by sending a volunteer (the afflicted's friend/relative being the most recommended) into their subconscious. From there, the volunteer must venture through their inner spiritual realm in a bid to find the embodiment of their core personality which manage things there. It's imperative for the volunteer not to interfere with the system of the afflicted consciousness no matter how bizarre it seemed to be.
