  • What exactly is Finnelan's relationship with Chariot and Croix? I think it' similar to Akko and Diana but that changes.

      Loading editor
    • Actually, she hold equal disdain to both, but for different reasons: Whereas she disliked Chariot's idea of showing the wonders of magic through magic show, she resented Croix for combining magic with hi-tech equipment no matter how beneficial such idea to everyone. Even so, it appears Finnelan's wariness towards the latter is not out of pure bias cuz Croix turns out had sinister intentions.

If you wanted me to add such info in those pages, it's best I'll do that cuz we have clashing ways in judging things

    • I mean how Finnelan views Croix when she was a student?

        Loading editor
    • As student? Hmm, her statements in episode 14 shows her opinion about Croix is as skewed as with Chariot despite of considering Croix fared better since she supposedly stays true. To sum it up, she equally disdained them both.

    • I thought Croix's excellent grades and discipline was enough. Also, Finnelan did warm up to Chariot after the Faeries incident since she admits about her passion.

    • Do you think should add later development in her personality when Akko continues to prove her potential and realize the flaws behind traditions.

        Loading editor
    • Not sure.

        Loading editor
    • Should we put in Diana's personality that while Diana is envious of Akko and have some feelings that the girl is unworthy but ironically, it's Diana own prideful and distant nature that mades her the most unworthy for the Shiny Rod.

        Loading editor
    • Best not to.

        Loading editor
    • This is just a theory but my personal head canon is that Diana is very much well aware what the seventh word means and that the Grand Triskellion cannot be used by anyone but Akko. Which is why if not the main reason she spent time helping Akko and why she's not disturbed someone else takes it.

    • I'm not sure If I ask this but did Chariot knew that the GT could not work on anyone but Akko? And if she did knew, do you think she would have make the time to find Akko?

        Loading editor
    • Probably she did have a feeling that would be the case.

And I don't know whethee she got time, but when she does, Akko and co. are already on their way.

        Loading editor
    • Even if she knew but it must have really hurt that she wasted her chance to make up with Akko.

Also did Chariot forgave the other Witches or she did but she feels that the damage was already done?

        Loading editor
    • I think it's the former, as I cannot say how much she saw the damage.

        Loading editor
    • Damaga as in how the Witches had being so harsh on her, ridiculing and mocking her for ten years and more. That kind of resentment can't go away.

        Loading editor
    • I just had a disturbing thought. Did the Noir Rod farted Chariot out after Akko blew it up the first time. If so, is that depressing or hilarious?

        Loading editor
    • Neither. She just survived when it was dismantled by Akko's shiny arc.

Oh, and it's best not to discuss this long covered topic any further cuz it clearly poisoned your mind. Understand?

        Loading editor
    • Anyway, you would think Croix would be mature enough to explain to Chariot how Woodward treated her? I don't think Chariot intentionally meant to steal her dream.

        Loading editor
    • Also, I kinda disagree with people who think that Lotte and Sucy helped Akko with the Vajarois when they get themselves bullied is wrong. Sucy and Lotte were already bullied even before Akko came and the two just thought they don't want to make their status worse. However, Hannah and Barbara's mocking make them realize is it okay for them to let these idiots do whatever they want all time.

    • BTW, what was the point of Chariot hiding in Luna Nova? I never like the idea that she hide out there to get away from her fans, if that was the case, she qould equally hated by the other Witches for making a mockery out of them?

        Loading editor
    • Perhaps so she can somehow find the way to set things right, even if it means she have to take the role of astronomy teacher (which I find made sense as the quest itself has something to do with magic astrology or anything)? Regardless, I doubt whether I have proper explanation of her aforementioned action, let alone wanting to do so as you made it clear you find it all nothing but nonsense, just like the concern whether a person who stoop as low as Croix still deserved the second chance.

        Loading editor
    • Well, it's a good explanation other than that one. Personally, she wasn't thinking straight.

        Loading editor
    • It's true she wasn't in the state of mind with such failures and guilt but, you sounds as if you viewed her as pathetic at best and detestable at worst. Me on the other hand, found her relatable as even with her best of abilities, Ursula/Chariot is still human and therefore make mistakes, but she does her best to be better. Not to mention that while she initially saw Akko as means to set things right, she grew to care to her as if the Japanese is her own daughter and even helped her seeing what she lacked as well as understanding her past errors.

        Loading editor
    • The only reason I ask this is because I did not like others saying she abandon her career and went into hiding for selfish reasons. Your reason sounds better as she did it because she did not want to hurt anyone else all the while not thinking clearly because how the other Witches just treated her.

You mean even if she did saw her as a means, her heart couldn't go through with it and when she saw Akko at her lowest, she chose to put her education and happiness first over the Quest.

        Loading editor
    • What I mean to say is that deep down, Chariot does not want anyone else taking that responsibility of the Shiny Rod nor the Quest. That's why she held back so long because she saw putting that responsibility when Akko was already struggling would have been bad.

The only reason she really brought up the Quest is when she realized Akko was one of her victims. And Croix made her intent in killing Akko,

    • Here's a possibility; Could it be she became a Teacher in hopes to teach any student who could have been affected by the DFS? Oh an her saying "I didn't want to believe Akko could be affected?" can be reinterpreted as her hoping that someone she cared so much for didn't deserve to be caught by the DFS.
