Werewolves are beings with the power to transform into a large, wolf-like form. Some of them are featured in Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time as recurring enemies.

Description

Out of known werebeasts, werewolves are arguably the most well-known. One of the main characters of Night Fall, Arthur, is a werewolf. Werewolves are human being cursed with the unique ability to transform into an anthropomorphic wolf-like creature with brown fur, grayish underbelly, and glowing yellow eyes. The way they acquire their power may vary, be it through magical means or exposure to contagious lycanthropic curse/affliction. As the latest known encounters with these creatures take place during the events of Chamber of Time, much of their lore and portrayal in the series is yet to be fully explored.

Interestingly, werewolves encountered by Akko and co. in the events of the game are shown in their wolf form during the day and devoid of articles of clothing their human form supposed to war, nor even their shredded remains despite the extent of their increased body mass shouldn't be enough to tear them all. Coupled with their less humanoid appearance, werewolves in question may actually Wulvers, a race of anthropomorphic magical wolves best known in the folklore of the Shetland islands off the coast of Scotland which related to their werewolf counterparts. Whether this is highly the case is yet to be revealed.

Powers and Abilities

In their wolf form, werewolves possess sharp claws and teeth, enhanced strength, speed, durability, night vision, and an enhanced sense of smell and hear. How strong they are in their wolf form related to the phases of the moon, with the full moon being the strongest. Depend on the nature of their power, they may either still maintaining their self-control or forced to struggle to keep their feral side at bay.
