Yūto Minazuki is a Sorbates Academy wizard-in-training and childhood friend of Atsuko Kagari who debuted in Little Witch Academia: Tsukiyo no Ōkan manga.f
Appearance[]
Yūto is a young wizard taller than Akko with fair skin, light blue hair, and black eyes. As with his fellow Sorbates Academy students, he wears the school-issued uniform consisted of a gray button-up tunic, a leather brown belt to carry wand with, a dark violet scarf secured with the school's emblem, dark blue pants, and a pair of gray shoes.
When he was young, he used to wear glasses.
Personality[]
In Akko's admission, Yūto used to be a kind yet timid nerdy young man who more than often needed Akko's help in dealing whatever troubles he found themselves into (helping him finishing vegetables he didn't like, beating up a bully who stole his premium race trading card, removing a dung beetle on his head, etc.). However, by the time they reunite as representatives of latest interschool competition, he has since grown into a more confident, studious, determined, and capable person who treat others with etiquette. But because such growth was motivated by the desire to not rely on Akko any further, he winds up more standoffish towards her before eventually mellows out as such contradicts his desire to impress his childhood friend.
History[]
Background[]
Yūto and Akko are childhood friends who attend the same elementary school. As children, they frequently goes to different magic shows where Shiny Chariot's happened to be one of them. Because of his meek disposition, Akko finds herself more than often standing up for him and helping him on things. This comes to a head when he feebly attempts to confess his love for her during which Akko unwittingly hurt his feelings by addressing him as a little, weak puppy which made her protective of him. Wanting to improve himself in the light of such shortcoming, Yūto strives to become more confident from there on.
Just as Akko decides to attend Luna Nova in order to become a witch like Shiny Chariot Yūto attends Sorbates Academy in order to become a proper wizard. In time, he becomes one of Sorbates Academy's best students.

Abilities and Equipment[]
Yūto is one of most talented wizard students of Sorbates Academy whose overall abilities on par with Diana's own at very least, be it in spellcasting and arcane expertise. He can conjure books for consulting with certain problems at hand, magically constructing a flying raft made of twigs (a feat which involves Flight Magic and Object Control Magic), projects blasts of magic energy, and remarkable skill in broom flight.

- Yūto is technically the first male protagonist of the franchise, preceding Andrew Hanbridge. They also curiously intended to be male love interest for Akko in their respective continuity (at least in initial draft in the latter's case.)
- Thanks to his reputation as one of best students of Sorbates Academy along with kind personality underneath his callous and condescending façade he originally put up to mask his insecurities and notable relationship with Akko, fans who familiar with Tsukiyo no Ōkan manga quick to view him as Sorbates Academy's very own counterpart to Diana.
